Commemoration of the First Indigenous Chaff 118/1 (M/S SDAL) Trial conducted at Air Force Station Gwalior from 01 July to 06 July 2020.

Presented to senior defence officials, project scientists, Air Force officers, and development teams who contributed to the successful execution of the indigenous trial programme.

The organisation wanted a premium commemorative memento that would preserve a landmark achievement in India's defence manufacturing journey — a milestone that demonstrated indigenous capability, precision engineering, and self-reliance in advanced aerial defence systems.

We created "The Indigenous Shield of Innovation" — a commemorative display enclosed within a crystal-clear acrylic case featuring:
* The actual Chaff Cartridge 118/1 components mounted on both sides.
* The project insignia and trial details displayed prominently at the centre.
* An aircraft image symbolising operational deployment and real-world application.
* A premium black pedestal base for authority and permanence.

* This project was unique because the client did not want a conventional commemorative plaque or a simple display of the entire equipment assembly.
* Instead, they selected only the three front chaff cartridges from the original trial setup to represent the achievement and the technology behind the project.
* Our challenge was to transform these operational components into a premium display piece while preserving their engineering significance and historical value.

To achieve this, we:
* Carefully extracted and preserved the selected three cartridge units.
* Designed a custom mounting structure to showcase them symmetrically and elegantly.
* Integrated the original trial details and aircraft imagery to maintain the context of the achievement.
* Protected the entire assembly within a crystal-clear acrylic enclosure for a museum-quality presentation.
* The result was a compact yet highly meaningful memento that captured the essence of the indigenous trial without overwhelming the design.
